Crucifixion Synopsis
About
Jesus Christ is the central figure of the Bible and the fulfillment of God’s plan to redeem humanity. He is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human, the promised Messiah. Born of the Virgin Mary through the power of the Holy Spirit, His birth fulfilled prophecy. It marked God's entrance into human history in humility. He lived a sinless life, taught about the Kingdom of God, and proclaimed love, repentance, faith, forgiveness, and salvation by grace. Through His miracles, He revealed God’s power, compassion, and character. Jesus was betrayed, arrested, and crucified, and His death served as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of humanity, fulfilling prophecy and completing the work of redemption. He rose bodily from the dead on the third day, conquering sin and death and providing the foundation of Christian hope. He then ascended into heaven, where He reigns at the right hand of God as intercessor and High Priest. Today, He is Savior, Lord, Shepherd, and King, offering forgiveness, new life, and eternal salvation to all who believe, and guiding His followers through the Holy Spirit. He will one day return in glory to judge the world, restore creation, and establish God’s eternal kingdom, dwelling with His people forever.
